Embedded firmware development
Firmware that works, from first idea to finished device.
I design and build embedded firmware from zero, for startups shipping a product and for student teams racing a deadline.
01 / Who I work with
Two kinds of projects, same care.
> students
Students & hackathon teams
Your board won't talk to the sensor and the demo is tomorrow. I help you debug, get the firmware running, and walk into the pitch with something that works.
- ✓Fast debugging sessions
- ✓Getting a demo working before the deadline
- ✓Learning how it works while we fix it
> startups
Startups
You have a product idea and need the firmware built properly: architecture, drivers, testing and documentation that a team can grow on.
- ✓Full development from zero
- ✓Technical consultation and design review
- ✓Clean, documented handover
02 / What I build with
The full stack under the hood.
- MCU
- ARM Cortex-M bring-up on STM32 and Nordic nRF: clocks, power, peripherals
- RTOS
- FreeRTOS and Zephyr: tasks, timing, device tree and real-time design
- BLE
- Ultra-low-power Bluetooth LE devices: sleep modes, power budgets, months on a coin cell
- I/O
- Drivers for UART, SPI, I²C, ADC, timers, DMA
- SENSORS
- IMU, force and bio-signals, filtering, sensor fusion
- ML
- Running trained models on embedded hardware in real time

IMU-based Real-Time Crutch Gait Phase and Step Detections in Lower-Limb Exoskeletons
A single low-cost IMU in a crutch handle classifies five gait phases in real time. Three deep-learning models were benchmarked on a PC and on embedded hardware, with a finite state machine keeping predictions consistent. The best model generalized from healthy participants to a paralyzed user.
